TERMS OF SERVICE

SHIPPING

Currently, I ship to most destinations around the world, except for the EU. I will be branching out to Europe  but this will take a bit more time due to new GPSR which have come into force recently.  If you are not sure if I deliver to your country, please get in contact with me and I will try to arrange this where possible.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES

Please note that customs fees, duties and taxes vary by country. Orders shipped to the USA are covered under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning all duties and taxes are included at checkout.

For all other international destinations, DDP is not provided. You may be required to pay local customs, duties, or taxes before your parcel can be delivered. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. If any required fees are not paid, the parcel may be returned or destroyed by local authorities. In such cases, refunds for the product or shipping costs cannot be issued.

UK DELIVERY:

Parcels will be delivered within 7 working days using Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery. On occasion, I may need to use an alternative courier. If you wish to collect your parcel in person please let me know as soon as you have “checked out”. I will arrange for a refund of the delivery costs.

USA DELIVERY:

NB: Please note  that a 10% tariff charge will automatically be added to your checkout. I use this to pay customs in advance which means than once you have ordered, there should be no change to how you receive your parcel. If there is anything you are uncertain of or have any questions, please send me an email

Delivery charges to the USA start at £25, increasing with weight. Parcels can take up to 10 business days to be delivered.

OTHER INTERNATIONAL AND NON EU COUNTRIES DELIVERY:

Other international shipping costs start from £25 and increase with weight.

Non EU countries shipping starts from £18.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY NOTE:

Please remember I am a small independent business and everything is done by myself, including preparing your orders. If there is any delay in processing your order I will get in contact. DAMAGED ITEMS

Full refunds will be issued to the buyer if items have been damaged during transit. I will provide a free returns label. It would be appreciated if you could take a photograph of the damage, including the packaging box, as this will help when I log an issue with the delivery company.

CARING FOR YOUR POTS AND OTHER RELATED INFORMATION

All items are durable (unless indicated otherwise) and will be fine in a dishwasher, though handwashing is recommended to prolong the life of your ceramics. As with any handmade items, microwaves should be avoided. Please only use items in the oven that have been indicated safe to do so.

All items, including glazes, and are handmade by myself showing this unique process. Nothing is mass produced so do handle with care. All of my ceramics are handmade in my studio in the UK using carefully formulated, durable, non-toxic glazes. All glazes used on functional pieces are lead-free and cadmium-free, formulated by myself from raw materials sourced from trusted suppliers. Technical Safety Data sheets are kept on file. My glazes are safe for everday tableware when handled as stated.

All items are tested before dispatching, however, on the rare occasion should a fault occur please get in contact with me asap. I will ensure a prompt replacement (stock permitting) or issue a full refund including postage costs.

My glazes make use of oxides to create certain colour responses. These oxides give striking results with no two pieces of the same glaze being identical - this is the beauty of handmade pieces.

As with all handmade items, there may be subtle differences from the photo if more than one quantity is available of a specific piece.

Items listed solely will appear as detailed and photographed.

The “matte” finish range of glazes may produce cutlery marks overtime. This does not impact the function/safety of the items and can easily be removed with a gentle non scratch scourer, and mild vinegar solution. Please do not soak your items in vinegar and rinse thoroughly when finished.

If you accidentally drop your item and it develops a crack please refrain from using, in particular mugs/beakers including the handles, as boiling/hot water can cause it to completely fracture leading to injury.

I do not recommend the use of microwaves for your pottery. Hot spots can occur which can cause serious burns. Microwaves can also cause stress to your pots which can weaken its structure leading to injury. If you choose to microwave your pottery you do so at your own risk.

Please only use items in the oven that have been indicated safe to do so. This will be listed alongside product description. I take no responsibility for incorrect usage of ceramics when used outside of their product description. Doing so is at your own risk.

EMAILS & NEWSLETTER SUBSCRITIONS

I may send you emails relating to your order. In particular, to notify you of your order received and postage (I cannot unsubscribe you from these emails). If you wish to unsubscribe from my newsletters, please find the “unsubscribe” link in the email. If this does not work please send me an email.
